What Makes Us Special

Fiber art can be anything from a crocheted coaster to an impressive cosplay creation and is limited only by the imagination.

The strength of fiber arts at Kzoo Makers is not simply the machines and tools available, it's the community that makes it special.

Each week our community of fiber artists comes together to create, embellish, and evolve fibers and textiles into art. Knowledge is shared among the group, with expertise in:

  • Knitting
  • Loom Knitting
  • Crochet
  • Embroidery
  • Cross Stitch
  • Felting
  • Sewing
  • And so much more!

Learn and Grow Together

The fiber arts community has hosted several workshops, including Sewing Machines 101 where the basics of using a sewing machine are covered, as well as a food safe yarn dyeing workshop. Our experienced members are always willing to share their knowledge and help newcomers get started.

If you've ever been amazed by the wizardry of making fabric using a string and a hook (or two sticks), been enthralled by the beauty of complex colorful cross stitch, or wanted to learn to make your own clothing, the fiber arts community at Kzoo Makers has something for you.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced fiber artist, you'll find a welcoming community ready to share techniques, troubleshoot problems, and celebrate your creations. Bring your current project or start something new with guidance from our talented members.
